Phil Royal
Born in Liverpool and having lived in various parts of England as well as Ireland and France, Phil Royal finally came to settle in Carradale with his wife and daughter, to enjoy the peaceful setting which so fuels the creative spark.
‘Paths of Love and Hate’ is Phil’s second collection of poems and with 200 poems at £10 from Amazon works out at just 5p per poem!
His earlier collection ‘Waiting for the Light’ describes Phil’s early life, based on his experiences of communal living and soul searching. This was put to music and made into a CD by a superb band led by Icarus Peel of the Honey Pot.
Phil’s passion for music has led him to voluntarily run Kilbrannan Sound CIC, with the aim being to bring exceptional live music to Carradale.
